Dance film showing the process of two strangers falling in love
The New York Times posted an article on “36 Questions that lead to love”. These questions were designed by Psychologist Arthur Aron. He explored the possibilities of establishing deep relationships between two people through the increasing vulnerability they show with every passing question. This is followed by a 4 minute stare into each other’s eyes. If both subjects are compatible, this exercise may facilitate the act of “falling in love”
In the Essay “To Fall in Love With Anyone, Do This” written by Mandy Len Catron and also published in The New York Times, the author narrates her experi- ence conducting this experiment with a acquaintance. She describes her feelings : curiosity, vulnerability and discovery. Each passing question unveils a layer of their person and by the end of the experiment, they are left with a very real version of each other.
